Planters Cocktail Peanuts Recall

To our valued customers- effective immediately there is a product recall notice on one code date of Planters cocktail peanuts. Please read the recall release below for additional details:

Kraft Foods is voluntarily recalling one code date of Planters Cocktail Peanuts sold in 12 oz canisters (code date 09-Jan-14, UPC 2900007212) because there is a possibility that the product was exposed to water not intended for use in food during the production process. 

No other code dates or any other Planters products are being recalled.

We have not received any reports of illness or complaints related to this product. Kraft Foods is issuing this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution.

Please hold this product at the warehouse and remove it from retail store shelves.  Your Kraft sales representative will be contacting the appropriate people within your organization to complete the recall as soon as possible and make arrangements for product disposition.

If you have shipped this product to other locations either within your own system or externally, please send this recall notice to them.
